The goal of this site is to provide a kind of compilation of resources for my students. The posts you will find here are meant to be challenging but not overly technical. I hope that you will be edified by what you read, and perhaps encouraged to pursue your own study!

With the Seminary still being in its formative stages, we are still actively raising support for salaries, equipment, and other office expenses. There are new students registering frequently, and it is evident that there is both a need and an interest in what we are doing at Veritas. If you’d like to consider giving to the work, please contact me at the above e-mail address to make arrangements.
Thank you!

Paul,
Good to see something happening. The Lord is faithful. It has been some time since we talked but it appears you have been busy. You’ve got some good material here. Thanks for everything and I pray the Lord blesses the seminary, the professor and the students. Congratulations on your new daughter, she is very cute.
Love you brother,

Bro. Paul,
I continually praise God for your faithfullness to Him and to sound doctrine. The influence you had on me at Tyndale and introducing me to Van Till will have a lifelong impact on me. The website is great and I am expecting the Lord to continue to use you and your family in a mighty way. Rebekah and I continue in prayer for you and for what you are going. May you continue to grow in grace as you wait patiently on Him.

Hey Dr.Paul,
Thank you for taking the time to clear out my confusions on the Peshitta origins.
Dr, I did look up the book by F.F Bruce. I didn’t know if you knew. There is an online copy available to read.

Hi,
I’ve just read your biography and it has confirmed a number of things I have been feeling recently. I am 26 years old and have studied the word from a dispensationalist viewpoint for 4 years. Recently, I have become discouraged with the political aspect of the so called Christian right in America making the issue of the gospel a social rather than a heart issue. I have played with the idea of reformation theology but realised that I would have to abandon my position on Daniel 9 and the whole book of Revelation. Thanks for your thoughts on dispensational theology and it’s kick up the rear. We need more Christ and less rapture. It’s not about the rapture, it’s about Jesus and his plan, all for him. So, in conclusion, I’m giving up on the hyper literalism of the likes of Chuck Missler and reading more of the old stuff which is Christ centered and more personal.
Thanks for your thoughts and I will be checking back on your blog for some time to come.
God bless
FF

My first visit to your site, via http://www.ExpositoryThoughts.wordspress.com. I read your “Who Is” and agree totally with you.
I never heard of the Reformed Camp until the last five years. Love their salvation position, but their last events stink, if I might say that.
Nevertheless we need to learn from each other and gain the best from each other.
I have read as much as possible from both camps and still believe the same as I had prior to the study.

Charles, sorry for this late response. I do differ from the Reformed camp on the matter of regeneration preceding faith. Although I know the Bible is clear on the fact that no unregenerate person will come to Christ if left to himself (Rom. 1:18-22;8:7 etc.), and also that the Father must draw the unbeliever (Jn. 6:37,44), I nevertheless do not equate this drawing with the new birth - but rather, with the work of the Spirit which in the case of the elect, insures the new birth.
I liked your post on Postman’s book by the way.
God bless you and yours.
Your brother,
Paul
